Terms and Conditions

All Hamilton Driving School's driver training, assessments and classes are subject to the following terms and conditions:

All driving lesson bookings will begin and end at the same location unless agreed to at time of booking.
Driving lessons and assessments are one hour in duration unless agreed otherwise in advance.
If you are going to be late for your booking please let the instructor know, the instructor will wait for 10 minutes only at the pre-arranged pick-up location unless communicated with by the client. If you are later than 10 minutes (without communication) or don't arrive for your booking, the changes to bookings policy will apply (see below under Changes to Bookings Policy}.

The client must give Hamilton Driving School at least 24 hours notice if they wish to change or cancel their booking. Changes within 24 hours must be agreed to by i
Hamilton Driving School; cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled booking may be charged in full.
Clients must always have their current driver's licence with them during practical on- road instruction and wear eyeglasses if required to do so as a condition of their licence. Failure to meet this condition will result in the lesson being cancelled and no refund will be issued.

You can expect your instructor to be patient, courteous and respectful toward you, the instructor expects the same courtesy and respect from the client.
Students can bring a support person to their lesson, but they must not interrupt the lesson or distract the driver at any time.
The instructor has the right to refuse tuition to any client that appears to be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol or is abusive.
A lesson may be stopped at any time where the instructor believes the client is putting themselves or the instructor at risk.

Fees for instruction are payable via internet banking in advance of the booking Bank account details for your instructor will be provided via email or text message with your booking confirmation. Please use your full name and date of your lesson as a payment reference.
Invoices and receipts can be issued upon request.
